Relating the Holocaust to other Genocides:
A Seminar Series for Educators

Spring 2011

Featuring lesson plans created by the MCHE teaching cadre, this series will explore connections between the Holocaust and other genocides through a variety of primary sources and pedagogical approaches. Educators may sign up for individual sessions or the entire series.

Perpetrators, Victims, Bystanders: Responses to the Holocaust

Summer 2011

This graduate-level course examines the roles of Jews, perpetrators, bystanders, the Allies and neutrals in the Holocaust. The course will feature guest lectures by historians, content-based readings, primary source analysis, survivor testimony, direct classroom application, and resources for use in 7th-12th grade classrooms.
