Witnesses to the
Holocaust Archive

The MCHE Witnesses to the Holocaust Archive features the testimonies of dozens of local survivors and other eyewitnesses to the Holocaust.

These 14 guidelines developed by educators at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum are designed to help you be as effective as possible with your Holocaust unit.

The Star in Education

Created in partnership with The Kansas City Star, these educational supplements offer a concise overview of the Holocaust while encouraging the use of newspapers in classroom research. A teaching guide includes guidelines for teaching the Holocaust, a glossary, timeline, graphs, statistics, suggestions for classroom activities, worksheets and maps. Classroom sets (maximum 30) are available by request.

A collection of edited videotapes based on testimonies of Kansas City survivors. In addition to individual testimonies, a set of four documentaries featuring the topics of German Jews, ghettos, in hiding, and liberation is available for free loan through our Resource Center.
