Introduction

This Webquest was designed for a dual purpose. It was to fulfill a requirement for a course entitled "Taming the Tiger" taught by Marsha Ratzel in 2004. The webquest will also be part of the shared curriculum of the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education Isak Federman Holocaust Teaching Cadre, of which we are all three members.

This Webquest requires students to research the Holocaust from multiple perspectives of those that experienced The Holocaust. There was no "single" experience shared by all during the Holocaust. Each group and individual had a story. It is hoped that through this Webquest your students will learn this reality and take the moral responsibility of protecting the rights of all human beings now and in the future. Please note that this webquest is not a simulation. Students are NOT becoming the person they are researching. Rather, they are researching their victim's experience.
